It’s been quite the ride lately. A reaction to a virus caused me to lose the ability to use my legs for a while. While I was sitting around in pain, I registered for the ISA Ontario 2024 conference.
I decided to get a booth and meet people working in the arborist industry.
The digital marketing and SEO industry is filled with spammy operations that try to take advantage of companies to make a quick buck and do little else.
This statement is sweeping, and some excellent digital marketing agencies are out there.
But the bad actors always create an impression of what the entire industry is like.
However, many people are doing a fantastic job and bringing their customers an excellent return on investment for their digital marketing.
I wanted to know what value I could bring to folks at the conference. So I decided to write a book.
Although it’s a small book and a first edition (yes, there are some mistakes in there), it has been quite the undertaking to learn how to become a published author.
The book takes the reader on a journey, learning how to understand a market and build a solid online presence, search engine optimization (SEO), understanding Google Ads and other topics.
I’m already planning a second edition, and I’ll be looking at readers’ feedback to know what to improve.
I want to keep the book up to date and add additional information. It’s important to commit to this project and keep the ball rolling.
Some companies will work with me, and some won’t, and that’s ok, but if the book can help them in their digital marketing quest, then I will be happy.
The book will be published on Amazon on the 21st of February, 2024, and I’ll also create a web page where you can get a free copy for the price of standard shipping.
